Great resource for strategizing staff strengths!

My staff and I used principles from this book at a recent staff retreat. As we move into a new year, we are looking at individual strengths relative to project objectives and how to maximize those for team achievement. We work with association volunteers and aligning expectations, as described in the book with application of staff strengths influences our outcomes.

Martha and Connie "Get it"

Reading the first chapter it is obvious this is written by experts that not only "get it," but know how to explain it and demonstrate how to do it. Loaded with good information on team development, managing, growing, and executing I find this to be a wonderful source for being a project manager's manager. Packed with templates, exercises, and action plans. This is a valuable resource for the beginning project manager through an experienced PMP. Additionally, it using the concept of a retrospective to help you evaluate yourself as a leader of a strong team and create plans to help you grow with the team. This compliments any book I have seen on servant leadership with the additional insights of people who have been there and done that.
